Service Description
This free initial consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to talk through your research ideas, questions, and what you hope to discover. Whether you already have information to build on or are starting from scratch, it’s an opportunity to share what you know, explain your goals, and get a feel for how the research process works. During the consultation, we’ll look at the type of research that may be most suitable, discuss the level of detail you’re hoping to achieve, and consider the best way to move forward. It also gives you the chance to ask questions, understand what to expect, and decide whether you’d like to take the next step with a research project.
Booking Policy
Free initial consultations are available by appointment only and can be booked through the website. Once a time has been selected, you will receive confirmation of your booking details. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible so the appointment can be offered to another client. The consultation is an opportunity to discuss your research ideas, goals, and any information you already have. It does not include research time or record lookups, but helps determine the most suitable next steps and research options for your project.
